Grieg - London Philharmonic

Product Description
Edvard Grieg
Norwegian Composer
(1843-1907)
Grieg attended Leipzig in his musical studies as well as Copenhagen, creating a personal
inspiration for Norwegian national music. Grieg and his wife had a special relationship
and would often perform recitals of his music together. Griegs best-known works
include Peer Gynt and the majority of his piano concertos. Unlike many
composers, Grieg became very popular during his lifetime and is still considered Norways
greatest composer.
